Roller blinds come in a range of colours that include plains and contemporary eye-catching patterns, as well as features such as blackout and special finishes. Cassette rollers, which come in a ''pelmet'' style casing, offers a more stylish and modern look.

Vision blinds, also known as day & night blinds, add a privacy factor to the conventional roller. Whereas roller blinds are either ''up'' or ''down'', vision blinds can also have the ''open'' position that allow an outside view while preventing those on the outside from looking in.

This ''hybrid'' style system blends the roller and venetian using a fabric that looks like a roller when coming off the tube, which then opens up into a soft venetian when dropped down. These are ideal for privacy control not offered by roller blinds, and do not have the stack venetians do
